As we move into 2023 as a club, an essential activity is taking place. We are budgeting for the activities and programs that we, as a club, will be supporting during the coming year.  Of course, there are standard items that we will continue to support (such as the n1fd.org website for example).   There may also be new items that we wish to support.  That is where everyone in the club can help!  The members of the Executive Committee would love to hear your voice as to what new programs or activities the club should support for the coming year.  What programs or activities would you like to lead or participate in?  What piques your interest and would make you say “Yeah!  I want to do that!”?  We created this member interest survey to get your inputs.

How Our Members Can Help

Your voice will continue to make NARS a club for its members.  Whether you are a Regular Member or an Internet Subscriber, opportunities abound for us to engage as a club in new ways with new programs and activities.  Not all need a lot of money, and some might not need any… just time.  The EC asks that you spend a little of your time to answer this question for yourself. Then let us (the EC) know by responding to this member interest survey.  We will then be able to review and integrate those new programs and activities into our annual planning (provided the funding and leadership is available).

There is a catch (isn’t there always?)!  The EC may, and probably will, be looking for volunteers to lead the new programs or activities.  Even if there is funding, if there’s no leadership, a new program or activity won’t get very far.  So, think about what you’d like to see for new programs or activities, and how you’d like to participate in making them a reality.  Let the EC know through the forums, and help our club, your club, stay vibrant and fun!
