This is a GREAT time for beginners and experts alike to see how it’s done, from towers to contesting to community interaction. It’s a “don’t miss” barrel of fun. Contact Fletch, N1MEO for more info on upcoming site reviews and planning!

July: Apres-field-day meeting. The good, bad, and (other) facets of what happened.

Future meetings: I’m currently looking for a way to put together an auction for the fall, and I desperately need an auctioneer, or someone willing to fake it. Basically anyone comfortable in front of a microphone, and doesn’t mind public humiliation (hmmm...isn’t that MOST hams???) Oh, and they also need to be able to count up (ok, THAT limits the field a bit).

Another potential program is to do a “Stump The Experts” night, oriented towards beginners. I’ve heard that these have been real fun in years past, so mebbe it’s time to do it again. Other program ideas are being “ruminated” upon, but no real clarity yet. Got a favorite, let me know!
