“Knits and Kits”
It’s that time of year again to steal a fraction of NARC meeting time to show off your latest kit, knit, quilt, classic junk, home brew project, or mobile radio mount. The meeting schedule allows about an hour for all presentations. The rules of the evening are simple; just show up and plan to spend about five to ten minutes talking about your project. Of course, your time slot adjusts depending on the number of presenters. Just be a few minutes early to get organized. Should be fun!

Last month’s meeting was awards night. A special congratulation is in order for all those individuals who have contributed their dedicated mental and physical best to the club in the recent year. If you missed this one, the highlights included a special presentation to the past executive board. They awarded themselves the eight ball award. This was for clearly recognizing that they had thoroughly screwed up the Classie Junque drawing. The award was then re- presented to the newly voted in executive committee. It was indicated to them by Mike K7CTW that they have to pay the penance for the last board. May God help the them with restoring the fun and tradition. No rules please.

Also congratulations are in order for the new NARC executive board members. A special thanks is in order for the retiring board members. They have all done a superb job in leading the club this past year.

Exciting February program: Ed Deichler, K2TE, has graciously agreed to share his recent DXpedition to Grenada with us, pictures and all. Ed sez: "It’s good to be DX!!" Come and find out why.
