Ed, K2TE, a regular contributor to the NARC Bulletin, usually expresses his thoughts with tongue firmly in cheek. This time, however, he is talking through his hat. On September 26, Ed will be participating in the Seacoast Century Ride on behalf of the Leukemia Society of America. The century ride is a 100-mile biking event that starts in Hampton, NH and circles along the New England coast through Maine and Mass.
Ed is soliciting folks for contributions for the ride, usually pledged as so much money per mile or a lump sum. If you would like to contribute, checks should be made out to the Leukemia Society of America; put “rider: Ed Deichler” in the notes field. If you prefer, you may contribute by credit card. A receipt will be provided for each contributor.
