NARC Tour of New Boston Tracking
Station Canceled!! Due to the situation in
Africa and the US response, the Air Force
has increased its alert status and has
curtailed many non-essential activities.
Unfortunately, the long-anticipated NARC
tour got the ax. If anyone was NOT
informed of the cancellation, it is because of
no email, radio, or telephone number.
Haystack Tour Instead
Never one to give up, I have lined up a tour
of the Haystack Observatory in Groton, MA.
Thanks to the efforts of N1STY, we will be
gathering at the facility at 6:30 PM on
October 8 (the Thursday after the club
meeting). I’ve been assured the place WILL
be open for visitors - the date coincides with
an open house.

let me know if you plan to attend.
