"Canned" Hams
Bring a can or non-perishable food item to
all NARC events, including meetings. Cans
are donated to the local soup kitchen. The
donations are greatly appreciated by those in
need. Give the cans to any club officer.
December Total: 57 Cans
Much better than last months pitiful count of
5. And we didn’t even have a December
meeting. Thirty-five items showed up at the
Christmas party. Another 14 items were
donated by a lovely woman who’s not a club
member, not a licensed amateur, and doesn’t
even live in New England! She would have
donated sooner but thought that canned
hams were the only item accepted… Thanks
to those who donated. The folks who
benefit from your gifts really appreciate it.
Without it, they’ll go hungry.
