Christmas Party

If you have been waiting for Christmas to come, you’re in luck, it's almost here. To celebrate, the Nashua Area Radio club is having its annual Christmas party. It is Saturday, December 6th at 7:00 PM at the Horsepond Fish and Game Club, Horsepond Avenue, Nashua (Right off Broad Street, Exit 6W from the Everett Tpke). All are welcome. Tickets are available from club officers. They are $7.00 for adults and $2.50 for children. As usual dinner will be potluck. Each family should bring an appetizer, salad, main dish, or dessert. Sign up for one when you buy your tickets. Remember to bring a serving utensil, pan holder, and Sterno if required. Drink set-ups will be provided, i.e. BYOB.

Again the highlight of the evening, besides the food, fun, door prizes, and company, will be Pauline, KA1LDF’s Famous Yankee Swap. If you wish to participate please bring a wrapped gift (suggested limit $10) labeled appropriately for a man, woman, or either. Because of some confusion in the past, parents please bring a wrapped gift for your child labeled with their name. These will not be part of the Yankee Swap, but will be given to each child. Mark your calendars and plan to attend this year-end event.

In the event K1NR is not present, John, WS1E is the “Designated Gene” for the traditional “Decorating of the Gene”.

Also, don't forget to bring a can or two of food for the soup kitchen. Every little bit helps.
