Following Classie Junque, John, WS1E announced that the club call is now N1FD. Ballots were then passed out for elections of club officers for 1997. While ballots were being counted, awards were given to the following individuals:
AL Simons, WA1TYB, “Incident Commander” - For the Number One Field Day Station in the Nation for the second year in a row - 1995 & 1996 ARRL Field Day Competitions.
Buzz Muzzey, KA1OMJ - For providing the Winning Field Day Site, and for showing us the way by cutting the grass before hand.
Jim Belanger, N1NH - For the continued use of his callsign on Field Day, and his efforts that helped make Number One New Hampshire Number one in the nation 2 years running.
Don Dillaby, KA1GOZ, AKA “Chez Don” - For superb culinary accomplishments at Field Day after Field Day ‘lo these many years.
Jim Heedles, WW1Y - For doing a great job on the club newsletter. And a pretty good one on printing the awards.
Rich Royer, W1HZN - For performing as Net Control Station, providing support to the Olympic Torch Run through Nashua for the 1996 Summer Olympic Games.
Ed Deichler, K2TE - For his continuing column in the club newsletter, “Tiny Elephant’s Contest Corner”.
Mike Graham, NE1V - For his continuing column in the club newsletter, “DX Rx”.
Don Ames, W1GUU - For the Farthest Distance Traveled to Field Day by a regular member.
David Ross, N1QFD - For the Farthest Distance Traveled to Field Day by a student member.
Chris Garon, K1SI - “Purveyor of the club presence” to the amateur community by engraving club badges and coordinating T- shirt production.
Chris Garon, K1SI - “Field Day Procurer Extraordinaire” for interfacing with equipment vendors to obtain antennas and radios for the winning station.
Al “Shoeman”, N1FIK - Received the Eight Ball Award (again) for not knowing the Club’s real name. when he made up his Section Managers Field Day plaque.
Colleen Gaffey, N1HAJ - For transforming bare walls and floor into a bright and festive hall for the annual Club Christmas Party all these years.
Mary Jane Warren, WA4WIJ - For transforming bare walls and floor into a bright and festive hall for the annual Club Christmas Party all these years.
Pauline Wells, KA1LDF - For transforming bare walls and floor into a bright and festive hall for the annual Club Christmas Party all these years.
Carol Knight - For transforming bare walls and floor into a bright and festive hall for the annual Club Christmas Party all these years.
Vic Gauvin, W2PW, Permanent Life Member - For stepping into the position of Station Master for 40m phone at the last minute, and operating all weekend long at the Field Day Site, helping to insure a first place finish nationwide.
Telex Hy-Gain - For providing the two 4 Element 20 meter Yagis used to make 1,545 contacts and helped make N1NH first in the nation.
Icom America - For providing IC-775 HF rigs for Field Day 1996 that helped make N1NH first in the nation.
William A Burden, WB1BRE Permanent Life Member - For his excellence in service as the New England Director of the American Radio Relay League.
John Halbert, KA1HOV “DJ Extraordinaire” - For continuing to entertain us at the annual club Christmas Party.
Brooks Tanner, KC1PD - For carpentry and cabinetry above and beyond the call of duty in repairing the club Eight Ball Trophy in time for the December club meeting.
John, WS1E, reported that the new updated regulations on RF Evaluations should be out by late December. John also reported that the club had regained its Special Service designation with the ARRL.

Chris, K1SI, announced that the Field Day 96 T-shirts should be ready and available at the club Christmas party. The cost is $15.00 per shirt.
Treasurer George, WA1DEI, reported that the club has $1,496.71 in liquid assets.
Henry, K1CII, membership, reported that there are 100 members in good standing at this time. This number does not include active family members.
Gene, K1NR, activities reported that there were 35 tickets sold so far for the Christmas party.
John, WS1E, in the absence of the programs director announced that the January program is the traditional project night.
Treasurer George, WA1DEI, passed out copies of the budget incorporating changes suggested at the November meeting. After minimal discussion, the budget was approved on a motion by John KA1HOV and seconded by Pauline, KA1LDF.
A motion to adjourn by Jim, WW1Y, and seconded by Pauline, KA1LDF was passed at 2007.
