With Gate 2 of the Vanity callsign program
there has been a sudden increase in the
number of hams subscribing to the “Better
living through callsign customizing” theory
first proposed by spice traders looking to
open new trade routes during the late 14th
century. This is in addition to those who
wanted to recapture former youth through
gate 1. To help ease the transition to their
new life of fame and prosperity, and to make
it easier on the rest of us, the Bulletin is
proud to present this list of old faces with
new names. Topping the list this month is:

That’s right, The Nashua Area Radio Club
has a new callsign. Gone forever is the
tongue twisting WB1FFZ (We be one fuzzy
fuzzy zebra). Say hello to N1FD, or
Number 1 Field Day!
