
We did it again. Highest score overall in Field Day for the second year in a row. Congratulations to everyone who helped with the 1996 Field day exercise. The Nashua Area Radio Club, using the callsign of club member Jim Belanger, N1NH, came in first place in both overall score and total number of contacts. The Novice station used Beth Simons’ callsign, N1ONC.
There were two other stations in the 20 Alpha class with us. They were the Nevada CO ARC and the Englewood ARC in Northern New Jersey.
The Nevada CO ARC, using W6TCO with a Novice/Tech call of KD6EWM made 646 QSOs with 30 people for a score of 2934. The Englewood ARC, K2ND made 104 QSOs with 16 people for a score of 678.
