President John, WS1E, turned the meeting over to program coordinator, Joel, KD1ON, who introduced our guest speaker, Al “Bunkie” Shuman, NH ARRL Section Manager, who outlined what the ARRL does in New Hampshire and what the NH Amateur Radio Association, the council of New Hampshire amateur radio clubs, does in the state.

Following the presentation, president John, opened the business meeting.

Fletch, N1MEO, president of vice and coordinator of training, noted he was looking for a substitute to handle the slow speed CW net that he had established on 10 meters. He also announced he was looking for an instructor, or instructors for a planned No-Code Technician course.

President John noted that in response to the new library policy of no longer permitting food and/or drinks in the library, that after the meeting, when the weather improves, we could adjourn to Hayward’s Ice Cream for refreshments.

Rex, K1HI, subbing for Field Day coordinator, Al, WA1TYB, reminded all that Field Day planning meetings would begin in April.
