    The FD Transportation team is starting to come together;

    Matt Sapienza, N1ZGN co-lead
    Craig Bailey, N1SFT co-lead
    Charlie, AB1ZN

    Anyone else who likes truckin’ and movin’ come now!

    I’m hoping this forum topic can serve as a tracking tool of sorts, while the big pile of equipment is sorted out, and we come up with a mobilization plan.

    Trailers available to pack n move:
    16′ Flatbed (Open Deck) trailer for very large parts
    10’x5′ enclosed Cargo
    12’x8′ Ramped Sled trailer

    As team leads continue to develop your individual gear lists, think of what you can pre-pack, and members of the transport team will assist.  The cargo trailers are fully lockable.

    Please post here the gear you desire assistance moving to the Field Day site.  The sooner we know what you all need brought to the site, the better we will be prepared, and the schedule can be setup.

    For example, if a Sams’ Club run is needed, let us know and we can meet you there and load it once.  My motto is handle it once!

    We’ll also have an RV on site to serve as a cooling station, food prep, hot water, and also a place for exhausted ops to catch a nap!  The RV will be on commercial power, and will be for support only – not for operating.

    OK – lets try this out.  Let the logistics requests roll in.

    FB Craig, thank you for helping with Field Day! I have a short bed F-150 that will be helping out with transport as well. Expect to have  the Satellite Station plus several radios and other gear to move from Hollis to our Field Day site and back. Here’s some thinking about how the basic setup and associated transport steps might go –
