At the May meeting, I asked for a show of hands on who would be interested in a CW class. I was surprised that nearly a dozen of the 40-so who attended raised their hands. Mike K1WVO, Dennis K1LGQ and myself are making preparations for a class.

Meanwhile, if you are brand new or want to sharpen you skills, I suggest checking out G4FON’s Morse Trainer. It is a Windows program to teach you the very basics. To make it realistic with real conditions you find on the bands, there are many variables you can throw in the mix: Noise, QSB, Chirp, Straight Key, QRM, Pitch Dither and Variable Weight.
