Our site uses WordPress which allows everyone to contribute articles via our Blog. You can upload pictures and then include them in your article. It’s very similar to using Word or similar WYSIWYG tools.
First login using your callsign in all CAPS and your password.
To start a post, first log in to our site using your account. At the top of the page, select the ARTICLES Menu and choose WRITE AN ARTICLE from the menu. Click it and select Post. This will take you into the tool for creating a new post. Fill in the post Title and write your article in the main window. You can use the formatting tools to make things look just the way you want them to. To upload an image, use the Add Media button or just drag and drop your file onto the screen for the article you are writing. When you add media (pictures or video), don’t forget to set the Title, Caption, and Description Fields on the right in the media area.
When you post is complete, you should select some areas from the list of Categories and Tags on the right – this will help our members who are interested in specific topics to find your post.
When you are all done, hit Submit for Review and one of the site moderators will look things over for you and then make your post live on the site. Give it a try and let us know if you have any questions via [email protected].
