The Honda 6KW generator that provides the primary 5 Megameter power for the site.
It is centrally located between Towers 1,2,3, the novice tower, and the kitchen. A 220Volt floating ground
feeder is run to each location. There, 2 to 1 extreme isolation stepdown transformers rated at 5KW
provide 120 Volts to run lights, rigs, coffee pots, etc. The 220V distribution system minimizes
I2R losses and provides better load balancing.
Two backup 5KW generators are located on site in the event the primary system fails.
