“Aliens Walk Among Us”

The next time you are listening to the low bands, tune in around 14.073 MHz. You may hear living among the RTTY and PACTOR residents a strange warbled signal. It’s not CW, nor is it AMTOR. It sounds kind of like RTTY and then again it maybe CW. Whatever it is, sounds like it has bounced around the world few times. Give up? Dan Norton, W1FX, will lecture about PSK31, the hottest and latest digital mode. Dan will introduce the new mode, possibly give us an audio demo, and let everyone know what the requirements are to quickly get up and running. Please plan to attend this informative meeting.

Special thanks and appreciation to Mike Graham K7CTW, NARC’s September guest speaker. If you missed this one, Mike educated a barely quorum audience about the ARRL National Traffic system. Specifically, Mike explained how to fill out NTS radiograms, how to send and receive them on a net. Make sure to check into your neighborhood NTS net. Thank you Mike!

Remember, your favorite topics can be next month’s program!! Visit with us and bring some ideas along for new programs. Hope to hear from you soon.

You don’t have to be a member of the club to share in the fun. Join us at the Nashua Public Library for this meeting of the Nashua Area Radio Club.

Your favorite topics make next month’s program!! Tell me about them.

See you at the meeting! de Gary, W1GRY
