“I’m supposed to do what?” |
You’re in luck. This month’s program features a new ham and one of our newest members, Mark Wagner, N1ZYZ. The American Radio Relay League (ARRL) is piloting a new program to try to get newly licensed people on the air as soon as possible. Mark is NARC’s GOTAP (Get On The Air Program) representative.
Mark tries to pair up new licensees with seasoned radio folks who introduce them to the fun world of Amateur Radio. Come join us and find out how Mark’s doing with this new idea and how you can help and get help.
Mike Graham, K7CTW wasn’t foolin’ when he said he’d pack them in in April. Mike gave an almost standing room only crowd a really good introduction to several digital communications modes available to Amateur Radio Operators. Did you know you can run PACKET through ham satellites? Thanks for a super job Mike. You don’t have to be a member of the club to share in the fun. Join us at the Nashua Public Library for this meeting of the Nashua Area Radio Club.
Remember, your favorite topics make next month’s program!! Tell me about them.
See you at the meeting! de Jack, WB4MDC
