“On again, off again...”

Mike Graham, K7CTW (ex NE1V, AKA “Billy”) has been wanting to do this presentation for a long time. “You know, we should introduce the newer hams to new things like packet and the other digital modes that make up this hobby”, he says. Well, at this month’s club meeting, Mike will do just that. He’ll take some of the mystery out of words like PACKET, AMTOR, PACTOR, TAPR, ASCII, BAUDOT, and maybe even CW. Mike will give us a starting point for defining these strange sounding names and maybe give us some reasons for going “digital”.

Last month, Brooks Tanner, KC1PD gave us a look into the crystal ball of disk drive storage technologies and gave us a glimpse of what we might expect to see on the retail market in the next couple of years. Thank you, Brooks for a job well done. You don’t have to be a member of the club to share in the fun. Join us at the Nashua Public Library for this meeting of the Nashua Area Radio Club.

Your favorite topics make next month’s program!! Tell me about them.

See you at the meeting! de Jack, WB4MDC
