“Life’s too short...”

Our fearless leader and club chairman, John Gaffey, WS1E is going to bring us up to date on the latest developments concerning the RF radiation limits imposed on the Amateur Radio community by the FCC. We’re hoping he’ll describe the methods a typical ham would use to determine the level of radiation coming from that sky hook in the back yard.

In October, Rich Force, WB1ASL, ARRL Section Emergency Coordinator presented an overview of the New Hampshire ARES and RACES communications programs and how they can be used during times of disaster. The yearly Simulated Emergency Test was held in October and a more comprehensive test is planned for next April. Keep your radios working and those batteries and generators charged and ready!

You don’t have to be a member of the club to join in the fun. Join us at the Nashua Public Library for the next meeting of the Nashua Area Radio Club.

Do you have a favorite topic which could be used for a NARC program? If so, tell me.

See you at the meeting!

de Jack, WB4MDC
