Our Next Meeting ...

Jack Warren, WB4MDC

NARC Bottom Feeder

for Programs

PSNH

Special thanks goes to Ralph Swick, KD1SM, and Stan Pozerski, KD1LE, for their presentation and demonstration of APRS (Automatic Packet Reporting System) during the February NARC meeting. Hope those of you who want to get started using APRS got your take-home diskette from Ralph and Stan.

Don Dillaby, KA1GOZ and current NARC secretary has volunteered produce this month’s program. We’re hoping to have a safety representative from Public Service of New Hampshire (PSNH) speak on several topics, including what to do when the lights go out, how to safely connect an emergency power generator to our homes, and an overview of services that PSNH provides for their customers in addition to our power allotment. We may be able to find out what to do in case we’re hearing the local street light better than a fellow ham across town.

So, bring a friend and questions to the next Nashua Area Radio Club meeting, March 3rd, 7:00 PM at the Nashua Public Library.

As we move toward the middle of the year, I’d like to hear from you about your interests. What kinds of programs would YOU like to have presented during our club meetings? Do you have a “pet” activity which could be turned into a 30 minute discussion one evening at a club meeting? Let me know. I’m reachable by phone (listed inside the back page of the bulletin), by E-mail at ‘wjaywarren@juno.com’, and on 2 meters during commuting hours.

See you at the next meeting!!! DE WB4MDC.
