Field Day Planning

It’s that time again folks. Field day planning meetings will be starting next month. The tentative schedule will be April 8^th, April 22^nd, May 6^th, May 20^th, June 3^rd, and June 17^th. As in prior years, the meetings will be held upstairs at the Chandler Branch of the Nashua Public Library.

Field day starts with setup at 14:00 Local time on June 27th and ends when teardown is complete on June 29th. Now is the time to think about how you want to participate. There are lots of positions that need to be filled, including “Future Stuckee” Check the 97 NARC Field day web page at http://www.mv.com/ipusers/ww1y/narc/fd97.

One of the first decisions that will have to be made is which callsign to use. The brand new very appropriate club call, N1FD, or the equally appropriate winning field day callsign for 1995 and 1996, N1NH. Assuming that Jim Belanger, the real N1NH, graciously allows the club use of his callsign again (Are you listening Jim?)
