President John, WS1E, called the January Bored of Directors meeting to order.
There was no secretary’s report for the January club meeting since there was no January club meeting. There was no officials treasurer’s report since all of the books had not yet been turned over to the new treasurer, George, WA1DEI. The bulk of the meeting involved the discussion of the president’s set of goals for the club which were presented in the February NARC bulletin.
There was discussion of developing a renewal form for members in order not only to provide a vehicle for renewal other then sending in the dues, but also a means of updating essential data on club members such as license class, etc. A number of possible activities were suggested by Gene, WA1UXA, activities coordinator, including a visit to ESPN, ARRL HQ, and a fox hunt. No action was taken on any items at the meeting and it was adjourned on a motion by Stu, N1STY, seconded by Gene, WA1UXA.
