Number One
New Hampshire

Congratulations to everyone who participated in the 1995 Field day exercise. The Nashua Area Radio Club, using the callsign of club member Jim Belanger, N1NH, came in first place in both overall score and total number of contacts. The Novice station used the Tom Flood's callsign, N1JWA. NARC also had the highest operating category this year, 24 Alpha. The highest possible number of simultaneous transmitters (excluding the WARC bands) is 46. Let's see how close we can get in 1996. If you're thinking of building a rig for some of the higher bands, the stations we did not have on the air this year were CW for 902 MHz and 1.2 GHz, and phone and CW for 2.3, 3.3, 5.7, 10, 24, 47, 76, 120, 142, 241, and 300+ GHz. It is interesting to note that none of the top 10 stations ran in the battery subclass this year. The Conejo Valley ARC, which took first place in overall score last year (but not in Q's) only came in 11th. For those who doubted WS1E's claim that we could win without having to go battery, the proof is below. The top finishers were:
