Minutes from the May 22nd Executive
Board meeting and the June 5th Club Meeting

Respectfully submitted by Jim Denhup, N1NYG and Fletcher Seagroves, N1MEO

May 22nd Bored meeting

The meeting opened at 7:08 PM with the following officers in attendance: Chairman Don Dillaby, KA1GOZ, vice-president Fletch Seagroves, N1MEO, Secretary Jim Denhup, N1NYG, and Treasurer Jim Heedles, WW1Y.

Old Business:

The Heedles/Seagroves motion to accept the May NARC Meeting minutes was passed.

Jim Heedles, WW1Y, noted in his Treasurer's Report that the club's balance is now $1301.27. We are slightly over budget due to the postage increase and newsletter related costs. Jim found out that the $50 cost to fold and collate the newsletter consists of $41 to collate and $9 to fold. We will try collating manually to save the $41 per month.

No membership report at this meeting.

No activities report at this meeting.

Fletch Seagroves, N1MEO, solved the NARC meeting donut cost increase. If the donuts are picked up just before 6 p.m. we have to pay full price. If we pick them up after 6 p.m. we get the 1/2 price rate. We will now pick them up just before the meeting and save 50%.

New Business:

A Heedles/Denhup motion was passed to allocate approximately $50 from the Field Day account to purchase Field Day QSL cards.

The board meeting was adjourned by the passing of a Denhup/Heedles motion at approximately 7:56.
